Visit Santa Fe, New Mexico, for the International Folk Art Market (IFAM). Every July, the world's largest folk art festival features over 150 artists from 50 countries showcasing handmade, artisanal pottery, rugs, clothing, jewelry, artwork, and other items that honor their cultural traditions.

This is one of the biggest holidays in the U.S. All government offices, banks, and many stores will be closed on this day. Every town in the country holds some sort of fair, festival, or parade. Many neighborhoods host barbecues and set off fireworks. No matter where you are in the country, it will be festive.
